Meditation on Grace: Right Forever by Faith

He shall seduce with flattery those who violate the covenant, but the people who know their God shall stand firm and take action.

Daniel 11:32 ESV

Meditations on GraceHE PAID FOR THAT, TOO

What violates the covenant today? If your answer is sin I ask, what specific sin?

There is only one that God counts against you and that is the sin of not believing on Jesus as the Savior. This includes a believer who has moved back under works of the Law. That sort of work will be burned up (1 Cor 3:15).

Your part as a New Covenant believer is to trust in the work of Jesus for EVERY area of your life. Those who violate that are able to be seduced by flattery, because they are “doing such a good job!” Beloved, beware of being too elevated by the praise of men.

A humble heart knows that any good they produce is done by the inner working of Jesus through faith. A humble heart knows that they need a Savior every day. A humble heart knows that all the good things they receive are a gift given from the hand of a merciful Father. A humble heart knows God and stands firm in the fact that Jesus paid it all. A humble heart takes action against any heresy that boasts of anything other than the work of the Lord Jesus.

It is just Jesus! If that rubs you the wrong way, then repent and confess that pride for “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:6 AKJV)
