We made it to our first live Blue Jays game this year and got to check out the new Atlanta Braves stadium, Suntrust Park. Though the first game Wednesday night wasn’t great for the Blue Jays, the park and whole area surrounding it is amazing, our seats were great, and Abigail got a foul ball to take home. Game two, the Jays made up for the series against the Braves and won 9-0. Totally worth the rain delay.
I was planning to sleep in on Thursday after the late game, but woke up anyway. Dang, regular Tuesday/Thursday morning live workouts! Just kidding. I love them and was able to share our trip and let everyone working out with me enjoy a bit of the Braves stadium by bringing the camera to the stadium gate. Check out the workout on Facebook. I’ll add a YouTube link as soon as I download, edit, and upload the video. It’s a great workout that will encourage you to workout anywhere… No excuses! If you’re just a lookie loo with no intention of working out, I encourage you to stick around to the end to see the beautiful fountains in the middle of the plaza for prayer time, plus the message with both encourage and challenge you.
Also, I found a new recipe on Pinterest the other day for Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites made with chickpeas and just a few other simple ingredients. With no refined sugar and gluten free, they are a great choice when you’re craving something sweet. She also lists a vegan option. Check out the recipe.
For those of you who don’t like peanut butter (like my daughter) and want it to resemble more of a cookie from your youth or need to be a bit sneakier about healthy, try my Good Choice Chocolate Chip cookies that also amp up the protein and health benefits with chickpeas and use coconut sugar to be more gentle on your blood sugar.
